Scan your own tag, make an account, and type in what you'd like it to show. Stick it on the windscreen and you're done.

No - and this is the whole point. Your QR opens in their camera and the page loads in their browser. For NFC, any recent iPhone or Android reads the tag by touch, with nothing installed.
Only if you switch that on. With the privacy switch off they get a message box instead - they type what they need to tell you, we notify you, and your number is never on the page.
You log in and update it. That's it. The tag on your windscreen holds a link to us, not your number, so it keeps working with the new details.
Yes. The camera app scans the QR code, and iPhones from the XS onward read NFC tags just by holding the phone near them.
It's laminated and made for outdoor use - windscreens, collars, suitcases that get thrown around. If one fails on you, tell us and we'll replace it.
The sticker goes on any existing tag, or on the collar itself. Keep the phone number hidden and finders can still message you the moment they scan it.
